Lacey Innovations was founded by a Fire Protection Engineer having an extensive background in not only design, but also inspection and commissioning of various systems.  A constant problem resulting in extensive cost overruns and project delays often originated due to lack of communication and coordination.

Doing a lot of Federal work, it was common to spend numerous hours designing a project which would get shelved until construction funds became available.  Often by the time a project got funded, someone else had come along and installed equipment in the same location that the engineer had based their design around.  Hence, "Save My Space" tape was born.  Then after extensive research and learning about tapes and adhesives, it became apparent that other communication problems could easily be resolved with the appropriate tape.  As a result, Lacey Innovations was founded to resolve these and other challenges commonly faced.
